talking about betting

Betting is something my family does for self-entertaining purposes.
we don't believe in those 3D or 4D or whatever Damacai nonsense because people always end up losing more money than winning. and that's what you call LUCK.

and so, we bet about...

• will XXX come to work tomorrow?
• what time will another XXX come to work tomorrow?
• what will that XXX wear to work tomorrow?
• what will grandma tah pau for dinner tonight?
• dot dot dot dot .. the questions come out spontaneously *although i know that spontaneity is never my thing*

Seriously, we have nothing better to do than making observations and analyzing the things we observed so that we can win the bet. You don't lose anything, neither do you win anything. *what we get is fun.. it's fun to make fun of that... i know it's evil... who cares :p *

"Alright, let's think about the shirts she wore for the past few days.. Hmmm, she wore green shirt on Monday, light brown shirt on Tues, Pink on Wed... Maybe tomorrow she will wear the ugly dark brown shirt with one flower on it... like the cantonese saying 'one fresh flower stuck in the feces'... hehehehe"

"No lar, maybe she will wear the grey shirt and tie her hair like a doll!!"

"Neh, the red Baleno shirt la.. coz' i haven't seen her wearing that for quite a while"

Grrrrhhh..
You know I am bored, don't you?

and so.. to reduce the level of ke-boring-an... jiaaaaa might be going to somewhere for quite some time. nothing is fully confirmed yet but we can see it coming. it's not going to be easy but I pray that His grace is sufficient for me and my family and that He will pull us through it.

No more sighs, please.

I practised my lepak-ing skill in Banting *as if lar i don't lepak in Ipoh*. played with the kids. helped a bit here and there. hehe.

I have been using my camera phone quite a lot since i got it in March this year. Oh wells, it can be your best friend or your best enemy. Sometimes it can give you quite good pictures *of coz, some editing has to be done lar*. And i had a susah time editing the pics coz all the pics taken at night are soooo grainy. Some i just make it black and white je lar ... *_*

oh wellzzz.... but it's ok. *it's just a camera phone, jiaaaaa*

okies... here's the Amazing Grace i blogged about some time ago. This was taken when i was on the way to the bus station on Monday afternoon.

i had a good weekend reflecting on how great His faithfulness is.

this was taken a few weeks ago.
it's one of the abandoned houses along the Concubine Lane in Ipoh old town.
there's something about this house that attracts my attention and every time i walk pass,
i will surely look into it.

imagine how it looked like many years ago.
well-lighted hall.
where parties were held.
people walking up and down the stairs.
people sitting around the table.with maids serving their master and family.


but now,
abandoned.
it was left all alone.

sweet dream, or beautiful nightmare?

and so there's this dream that has become the family joke...

in that dream.....
i was riding a horse ... galloping.. kept on galloping.. with the wind blowing across my face.. *you know, something like LoTR.. blah blah blah*

Suddenly, i heard someone calling my name..

"Jiahui.......Jiaaaahui......."

I slowed down and looked around.. expecting someone to come on a horse ... *geeee...*
There's no one... everywhere is green in colour, with nice blue sky... No one.

The horse cantered a bit. And I still heard someone calling my name.

"Jiaaaahui.... jiaahuiiii....."

when the person was about to appear...

Taa daaaaaaaa...........!

I opened my eyes and guess who i saw?!

we have forgotten how to walk the second mile.

cloudy and rainy.

i'm back from haven. Peacehaven.

i haven't really gotten the time to think about the past one week... to process whatever experiences i had... blah blah blah.

i don't know whether i have found any peace there but at least i saw some of the reasons why there's no peace. and i guessed those reasons explain the chest pains. the deep breaths. the restlessness. the fear. the worries.

where art thou?

i have been thinking about them for many days.

there's a lot of things in my mind but as usual... i don't know how to sort them out .. let alone voicing them out.

my mind is stuffed with many 'why?'s

and therefore I will be up in Haven for 3 days 2 nights searching for Peace.
