something about staying in residential college when you're in your final sem..

a mixture of good and not so good stuff.. whatever.. :p

1. you get free nescafe once in a long while. and i had mine this afternoon..
2. you get to go for supper whenever you want.. given that you are willing to walk down to sahur..
3. you get to lepak with friends as much as you want.. coz there are so many of them staying nearby...
   
4. you smile at different people whom you always meet in the common bathroom, the dining hall, sahur..
5. you get to meet new friends.. and talk to your coursemates whom you hardly talk to before/during/after class... *dang, what have i done in all my 4 years?*
   
6. yes, college life is somewhat 'rigid' but i think it can be as fun as you want it to be..
7. you don't need to be bothered with whatever announcements *ooopss* except the one which tells you to go down to pokok tanjung to get free nescafe.
8. you don't need to crack your head thinking what to eat for lunch and dinner.. well, the food is not that bad anywayz *although monday dinner is the worst!*
   
9. you get to see monkeys everyday..
10. you wonder how people can simply throw their leftover food in the rubbish bin..
11. you wonder what happened when some people bathe... you see lots of foams on the four walls of the tiny cubicle...
12. your clothes get pushed aside and all 'stuck' together so that they can hang theirs.
13. what else?

let me tell you my experience in junior church

today was my 3rd time helping out in junior church -- and so far this is the best experience i had with the kids... =)

earlier of the day, i was like wondering...

"oh boy, what have i gotten myself into??"

*coz' i need to wake up early on sunday mornings,
and not like i'm being very helpful in junior church...*

anywayz, we had bible quiz this morning and i sat together with 6 kids of age 7-9....
and guess what, my group got 3 or 4 wrongs out of about 30 questions. amazing, kan? we won the first prize.. haha.. funny.. *ok la, i gave some hints to help them to decide which answer to choose lar.. *

i had fun with the kids, cheering and laughing and being excited and telling them

"Hey, you guys are really gooooooood!"

and boy, i didn't know the correct answer to some questions pun... *and i ter-drop wrong hints that contributed to the 3 or 4 wrongs.. * ;p

hmmmm.... and i am truly glad that i'm helping out in 7-9 year old group and NOT 10-12. come ask me why. =p

went out for a just-for-fun-and-cheer-us-up outing with aj.

we simply jumped into a um bus.
it stopped at stesen Uni
and we went to petaling street.
filled our stomach with beef noodle.
got a shirt from mydin. it's for rachel so that she can simply cut it into whatever shape she wants.
lepak-ed in central market.
*checked out some stuff. have to do some more thinking and planning..hmmm*

and came back with African daisies!
