d' heart

Above all else, guard your heart,
for it is the wellspring of life.
Prov 4:23

ABOVE ALL ELSE, guard your heart! A strong message on how our heart directs our thoughts and actions, how it defines who we are. Questions to a self-conduct heart check-- What do you fill your heart with? Where is your heart?

A heart of flesh versus a heart of stone.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;
I will remove from you your heart of stone
and give you a heart of flesh.
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees
and be careful to keep my laws.

Eze 36:26-27

Jesus sees my heart. And all that is within it. The good and the bad.
A broken and contrite heart,
O God, You will not despise.
Ps 51:17

I woke up one morning wondering what is ahead of me. It's scary, you know. And later on, I came across this verse...

When I said, "My foot is slipping,"
Your love, O LORD, supported me.
When anxiety was great within me,
Your consolation brought joy to my soul.
Ps 94:18-19

and I know HE will never leave me nor forsake me.
