And so jia set some pretty unrealistic goals for her students for the mid year exam.
Science - no one should get less than a B, with exceptions for some of them where a C is good enough.
Bio - at least a D. each of them has been given a minimum grade which they must try to achieve. If they got it, of course they will be rewarded in the form of nestle drumstick.
Maths - at least a C. those who get less than that will be rotan-ed. i am sure i have ample time to learn how to properly hold the rotan and strike their palms. oh by the way, after the April test i have been given the authority to punish the students from my classes - those who didn't do well in their maths papers.
sometimes i wondered what went wrong with their gray matter.
it took her so long to give me the answer of 4 + 1/2.
she counted her fingers for so many times to give me the answer 0f -2 + 11.
what am I supposed to do? teach them the primary kids' stuff?
i felt so intellectually challenged to teach them. *sorry, i am not being mean, ok* but seriously, i am intellectually challenged because i need to come out with ways to help them to understand. sometimes i really wondered if it's my fault that they don't understand what i taught. but then how come more than half of them know what i am talking about while that particular handful of them don't?
i am worried that they won't do well in the exam. when i set the papers last week, i thought that those questions are pretty easy and 'friendly'.. sigh.. but then after all the printing and stapling is done, i read through the papers again and started to feel one-kind about the questions.. they aren't that easy and 'friendly' afterall... whateverlar :|
lately, there are a few freaky spooky stories about the school and the hostel. it sends chill down my spine at times... garrrhh..
weekend is coming soon. another week nearer to home. ;)

when you talk so much about a certain thing --
you either love it so much,
or hate it to the max.
